Etienne SICARD, Professor at INSA Toulouse, France
Etienne Sicard received his B.Sc degree in 1984 and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Toulouse, France, in 1987. He spent 18 months at Osaka University, Japan, and one year as an invited professor at the University of the Balearic Islands, Spain. Etienne SICARD is currently a professor at INSA, Toulouse, in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. He was a visiting professor at the electronics department of Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada in 2004. His research interests include several aspects of CAD tools for the design and electromagnetic compatibility of integrated circuits. He is the author of books, software and more than 100 technical papers in these areas. He is the co-author of the first book dedicated to EMC of ICs (Springer 2006). Etienne is a member of the SEE society and a senior member of the IEEE. He served as IEEE distinguished lecturer for the IEEE EMC society on the topic EMC of ICs from 2006 to 2007.
